Safe and legal waste disposal is an often overlooked, yet critical component of hydraulic fracturing operations. Any company that removes solid waste (spent filters, oil soaks, etc.) or waste oil from your fleets should have both a DEP issued solid waste permit (operation of a residual waste transfer station) and a processing and temporary storage of waste oil permit.
